Useful information / FAQs

A few questions.
Clear answers.

A starting point for software projects, remote working and device-repair enquiries.

Software development

What technologies can you help with?

My services include C# and .NET, Microsoft Azure, Next.js and React web development, Flutter mobile development, integrations, automation and WordPress. The right approach depends on your existing systems and the problem you need to solve.

Can we work together remotely?

I am based in Coventry, UK, and offer remote software delivery. Any on-site or hybrid arrangement, availability and working hours can be discussed with the enquiry.

Can you improve an existing application?

Yes, you can enquire about an existing codebase, integration, maintenance problem or delivery challenge. Share a non-confidential overview first so we can discuss whether the work is a suitable fit.

How do you use AI tools?

AI can support exploration and implementation, with engineering review, verification and responsibility remaining with the developer. Tool use and access to your information should match the project’s requirements. Read more about my AI engineering approach.

Device repairs

Which devices and faults can I ask about?

You can enquire about selected phone, laptop and computer faults, including software issues and hardware diagnostics. Include the exact model and symptoms. Suitability, parts and the proposed work need to be confirmed before a repair is agreed.

Can I drop off or post a device?

Contact me first to agree whether the device can be assessed and how handover would work. Please do not travel or post a device without confirmed arrangements.

Should I back up my data?

Yes, where possible. Tell me if a fault prevents backup or if preserving data is your main concern. Avoid sending passwords, unlock codes or sensitive files with an initial enquiry.

Getting started

How much will it cost?

There is no one-size-fits-all price. Describe the work or fault so scope, any diagnostic charge, fees and next steps can be discussed before you commit.

Does sending an enquiry make a booking?

No. An enquiry begins a conversation. Work, price, timing and applicable terms need to be agreed separately. See the service and repair information.

Where can I find your privacy and cookie information?

The privacy policy explains enquiry information. The cookie policy explains essential functions and the saved notice preference. You can reopen Cookie settings from every page’s footer.

Something else on your mind?

Send a short overview and I’ll have the context needed to discuss the next step.
